Hello!
So you want to know more about me? I'm a girl from sunny California who desperately wants to be crafty and Martha Stewart-like, but usually ends up with a sloppy mess and thoughts of "Well next time, I'll know what NOT to do." I can spend hours in a craft store and paging through recipe books with pretty pictures. Luckily, I have wonderful friends who are creative, encouraging, and patient with all of my creative pursuits.
I started this blog in January 2013 to catalog my sewing projects, recipes that I love, organizational projects around the house, and all the fun adventures I have along the way!

This blog is not strictly vintage or retro, but has a little bit of vintage flavor thrown in, just like the lemon zest mixed into a yummy cream cheese frosting. Mmmm...
Feel free to drop me a line at vintagezest (at) gmail (dot) com or leave a comment on the blog. Like I say, it's always free to put in your two cents!
Thanks again for stopping by to visit my blog. I hope you enjoy your stay!
I am the same way! I always start out with such good intentions for a project and then I end up saying "maybe next time." And I spend hours in craft stores--it's so addicting! Glad I'm not the only one. Cute blog! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, I like to think we're engaging in exercise as we stroll every aisle...
DeleteHey Diane, came across your blog at a link party. I see you've just started out. Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying your posts and share many of your interests so it makes for easy reading! Keep it up and look forward to following your future posts! Emma :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Even though this started as a personal online journal of my projects, it's nice to know that I'm not just talking to myself sometimes!
